1. Hand Tied Bouquet Design
Competition format
Video and photo shooting
  • All entries must be based on natural plants and flowers
  • All flowers cannot be trimmed in advance and must be trimmed on site
  • Contestants are required to prepare all kinds of flower materials and tools required for flower arrangement according to their designs, such as: flower materials, flower mud, flower utensils, water, auxiliary materials, watering cans and pruning tools
  • Participants are required to provide a “Work Information Sheet”, which includes
    i. Title of work
    ii. Creative concept and feature description (within 100 words)
    iii. Use of flowers and symbolic messages
    iv. Explanation of references or quotations from other people’s works in the work (if any)
  • Participants are free to choose to bring their works to the site for display and communication
 Grading rubric
  • Theme creativity 20%
  • Colour matching 20%
  • Techniques 20%
  • Overall Appereance 20%
  • Public Review (scored by cross-sector review) 20%
Video requirements
  • Video the contestants’ self-introduction and contestant number
  • Highlights of beginning
  • Highlights of the mid-stage operation
  • Effect display of the final finished product
  • The entire video should not exceed 10 minutes
